The 2065 Kershaw Gravel Knife is a value priced compact EDC that features a 2.5 inch reverse tanto blade made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with a non reflective BlackWash finish, top swedge, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, flipper and SpeedSafe Assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 3.5 inches closed, has a matching BlackWash finish, ergonomic contours, sturdy frame lock, a lanyard hole and a side to side reversible deep carry pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Kershaw Gravel Knife has an overall open length of 5.9 inches, and it weighs 2.7 ounces.

This means the Gravel not only provides the piercing power of a tanto, but also offers excellent slicing capabilities. The blade’s swedge dips toward the spine at the back of the blade and gives the pocketknife a distinctly “sharky” look. 8Cr13MoV blade steel ensures good edge holding, strength, and hardness.
