The 7010 Kershaw Highball Knife is a sleek everyday carry that features a 2.8 inch clip point blade made of D2 steel with two tone satin and gray PVD finish, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a wide thumb groove for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel handle, 3.8 inches closed, has a non reflective gray PVD coat, pivot with KVT ball bearing system for smooth opening, blue pivot ring detail for visual interest, chamfered contours for comfortable grip, sturdy frame lock, and a removable pocket clip at the butt end. The Kershaw Highball Knife has an overall open length of 6.75 inches, and it weighs 2.9 ounces.
From the Kershaw website: The classy Highball features clean lines and a high-performance blade of D2 steel. This high-carbon tool steel is wear resistant, tough, and offers excellent edge retention. The blade has a two-toned finish: machine satin on the grinds and gray PVD on a recessed groove in the blade upper. This fully manual knife can be opened one-handed using the recessed groove in the blade like you would a thumb stud. But because there is no thumb stud, the Highball retains its streamlined look. The steel handle is contoured for a comfortable grip. A pop of blue comes from the custom trim ring that surrounds the pivot.
